How do I collect matching gifts for donations?
Remind your donors that your nonprofit could greatly benefit from their company’s matching gift. What’s a matching gift?
Tell your donor to:
- Contact their Human Resources Department for matching gift instructions (they may have to fill-out a paper form or visit a website).
- Use their email receipt from Firstgiving to fill out the form and for proof of their donation. If they need more information, have them contact us
- If they need additional correspondence from the nonprofit, have them get in touch with them. Contact us for your nonprofit’s contact details.
